Central Florida has always paid special attention to the space program, which is to be expected considering all of the NASA workers within the region. This year marks the 40th anniversary of one of the space program’s “highlights” — the safe return of the Apollo 13 astronauts after an accident occurred aboard their craft en route to the Moon.
