I recently upgraded my Canon Rebel T7 camera to a mirrorless one from Canon, and I have been busy learning the new settings.
I have been using the birds in my backyard as subjects as I practice with the new camera. Despite some errors in figuring out how to master the new mirrorless camera, I have been pleased with the results so far.
So, I’m going to share some of these images taken in my backyard as part of my practice sessions.
This endangered Whooping crane – one of about 400-600 that still exist in the wild – lives where a subdivision is gobbling up its habitat.
The temperature quickly jumps into the 80s and starts speeding toward the 90s. The weather isn’t great, but the birding is pretty good.
While I will travel across Central Florida to seek out new birds to photograph, I often overlook some pretty interesting ones hanging out in my backyard.
