It was six years ago today that RogerSimmons.com was born. It’s been a fantastic six years for me, and I hope you have enjoyed it too. This TV portion of the site has become its most popular area, and I enjoy helping keep alive some of Orlando’s great television history and reporting on the goings-on in the local industry today. >> Mentioned yesterday rumors about WOFL parent Fox purchasing WSVN in Miami. NewsBlues reports today that NBC-Universal apparently had a deal to buy WSVN owner Sunbeam, which also owns NBC affiliate WHDH in Boston. Under the plan, NBC-Uni was going to keep WHDH but sell WSVN to Fox. But … the deal apparently fell apart at the last minute.
