WESH-Channel 2, Orlando’s NBC affiliate, began broadcasting on June 11, 1956 and was originally licensed to Daytona Beach.  Visit our WESH-2 page to view our extensive collection of historic WESH videos, photos and other material.
WKMG-Local 6, the area’s CBS affiliate, was the first TV station in Central Florida. WBDO-TV 6 began broadcasting on July 1, 1954. Visit our WKMG-6 page to view our extensive collection of historic videos, photos and other material.
WFTV-Channel 9, Orlando’s ABC affiliate, began broadcasting on Feb. 1,  1958, as WLOF-TV 9 — the area’s third TV station. Visit our WFTV-9 page to view our extensive collection of historic videos, photos and other material.
Central Florida News 13, the area’s 24-hour cable news station, began in October 1997. Originally owned jointly by the Orlando Sentinel and Time Warner cable, it’s now owned by Bright House Networks. Visit our CF News 13 page .
WKCF-Channel 18, the area’s CW affiliate, went on the air in November 1988. Originally Channel 68, the station swapped dial positions with Brevard Community College’s TV station. Visit our WKCF-18 page.
WRDQ-TV 27, an independent station, began broadcasting on April 23, 2000. The station is part of Cox’s Orlando duopoly, along with WFTV-Channel 9. Visit our WRDQ-27 page to view our collection of historic videos, photos and other material.
WOFL-Channel 35, Orlando’s Fox affiliate, began broadcasting on March 31, 1974, as WSBW-TV 35.  Orlando’s first independent station struggled, going dark in 1976. It returned in 1979 as WOFL. Visit our WOFL-35 page .
WRBW-My 65, Orlando’s My Network TV affiliate, began broadcasting in June 1994. Originally called Rainbow 65, the station is part of Fox’s duopoly with WOFL-Fox 35. Visit our WRBW-65 page to view historic videos, photos and other material.
