A few more birds from Fort DeSoto

Roger Simmons, July 9, 2026July 9, 2026

Fort DeSoto is an absolute wonderful place to go birding, especially if you’re hoping to photograph birds who like to hang around the shoreline.

I’ve already posted my images of the Least Terns, Wilson’s Plovers and a Reddish Egret, but I still have photos of some other birds to share.

There’s a lot of diversity at Fort DeSoto as these 14 different types of birds show.
