I try to post my birding photos chronologically from my birding trips. But, well, things happen.
Like doing a special Swallow-tailed Kite trip that got priority postings, or going on a weeklong vacation and not posting anything. It’s stuff like that which throws off a schedule.
So, here’s a hodgepodge of photos from August trips to the UCF Arboretum, as well as Joe Overstreet Road and Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area in Osceola County.
I came across two new-to-me birds: A Grey-headed Swamphen and a Ring-necked Duck. Plus, I got to photograph some others I have photographed before.
Some Black Terns recently showed up at Orlando Wetlands. It’s the first time I have seen or photographed these new-to-me birds, so I had to do some research to find out more about them.
I photographed this pair of Sandhill Crane colts when they were just two days old. Now, they are a little more than a week old.
