Sandhill Cranes are regular year-round residents of Central Florida, and you can find them in mnay neighborhoods or in more rural settings.
According to AllAboutBirds.org, “The oldest Sandhill Crane on record was at least 37 years, 3 months old. Originally banded in Florida in 1982, it was found in Wisconsin in 2019.”
