Adding 14 new birds to my catalog, plus some old faces in new places

The past five weeks have been a boon for adding new species to my bird catalog. Thanks to my vacation in Seattle and Alaska, a work trip to Southwest Florida and visiting my usual spots around Central Florida, I have added 14 new birds to my life list.

The number of different types of birds I have photographed is now at 261 – all coming since I started birding on New Year’s Day in 2023. I would love to get to 275 by the end of this year, but we’ll have to see how that works out.

Here are the newest additions to my bird catalog, listed in alphabetical order, plus some species I’ve photographed before but never in these places.
