Birds, Words, Pics + TV
I work with a very talented, experienced group of photographers who produce amazing work day in and day out at the Orlando Sentinel.
So I was really honored when our photo editor asked me for some of my bird photos for the weekly Sunday Snapshot feature on the back of the Travel & Arts section.
I offered a pretty big selection of recent photos, and she narrowed it down to seven that appeared in print.
Here’s how the page came out.
While walking along the interpretive drive and boat ramp I found a nice variety of birds, including some species I had not seen in a while.
An overcast, drizzly day created a moody landscape in which to photograph these amazing-looking endangered birds.
I took advantage of the time change to visit Orlando Wetlands before work on Monday, enjoying a spectacular cool morning and coming across two new-to-me birds there.
