I work with a very talented, experienced group of photographers who produce amazing work day in and day out at the Orlando Sentinel.
So I was really honored when our photo editor asked me for some of my bird photos for the weekly Sunday Snapshot feature on the back of the Travel & Arts section.
I offered a pretty big selection of recent photos, and she narrowed it down to seven that appeared in print.
Here’s how the page came out.
I’m not sure what it is about these birds that is so captivating, but I love to watch and photograph them.
It’s not unheard of for them to be in Central Florida, but they are typically seen more often in the northern part of the state.
A lot of birds have been popping up across Central Florida, from the Orlando Wetlands to Merritt Island to Lake Apopka to Osceola County.
