This lighting worked especially well with the pink Roseate Spoonbills, who were settling in for the night in trees around the Cypress Boardwalk.
Throw in some little birds and some bigger ones, and overall it was a great evening.

I haven’t been able to go as often as I did last year, but each trip usually includes some special moment involving birds or other creatures who live there.
It was a very refreshing 66 degrees on Saturday morning when I arrived at Orlando Wetlands, hoping the cooler weather was attracting some returning birds.
