Some photos of the Roseate Spoonbills at Orlando Wetlands Park, from January to May 2023.
While the Chiefs and 49ers were getting ready, I was busy photographing four species of raptors at the Wetlands: American Kestrel, Osprey, Bald Eagle and Red-shouldered Hawk.
A female Ruby-throated hummingbird had been reported at the Orlando Wetlands, but she kept me waiting for awhile before she showed up.
These little grey-and-white birds never seem to sit still for very long – preferring to flit about as they look for a fish or shrimp to catch from a pond, river or lagoon.
