Orlando Sentinel Football 2005
Our theme this year was "The Fine Art of Football." For all our covers, except the first, we focused on coaches, since we feel they are the ultimate artists -- creating their teams and crafting winning or losing seasons. Inside, we had players interracting with famous works of art. We also examined a different "fine art" in the doubletrucks of each section -- the Fine Art of Winning the Heisman, the Fine Art of Urban Meyer's Spread Offense, for example. Each section was also themed to a different genre of art to add some variety to our eight sections. Our graphic artist, Lonnie Knabel, created the covers. Designer Adam Shiver
created the doubletrucks.
